Top USA Travel Spots for Summer 2021

Our Three Picks for Vacations in the United States

When the sun comes out, you’re ready to be, too. However, you don’t know which states you can and can’t visit yet.

Here is a shortlist of a few local places to see this summer. Although some things seem uncertain, having a good time doesn’t have to be one.

Florida

There’s a reason why Orlando is the reigning vacation destination internationally. However, the state of Florida is huge, and each region feels distinct.

The Panhandle has a more humid climate as it’s closer to Louisiana and Georgia. South Florida has many affluent retirees and fewer vacation amenities to enjoy versus central communities.

Whether you head the keys or stay in Central Florida, you have many entertainment choices. Plus, you have better odds of enjoying clean hotel rooms thanks to high visitor turnovers.

Las Vegas, NV

While a little quieter than usual, Las Vegas hasn’t turned away visitors. Although there are restrictions in place, you can anticipate changes to them soon.

There are still many casinos, restaurants, and live entertainment available. Add in legal recreational cannabis, and it may be the best place to unwind.

Gloucester, MA

If Florida is too far south, check out the beaches of the north. Gloucester has long been a favorite travel destination for many.

You get both sunsets at the beach with cooler temperatures. Plus, you don’t see as much hustle and bustle as Downtown Orlando or even Boston.

The Best Travel Destinations for 2021

By now, everyone has a case of Cabin Fever and is planning their next trip. The question is, though, is where even to go to relax?

Here are our top three picks for travel destinations for the year. Remember to vacation responsibly, especially when visiting somewhere unfamiliar.

Aspen, CO | USA

It’s no secret that resorts have gotten hit hard during the pandemic. If there is a silver lining, it’s travelers finding a substantial deal.

Aspen has long had something for everyone, even if you don’t ski or snowboard. And the Great Outdoors is the best place to be after a year cooped up. Best 5 Resorts in Aspen

Greenland

Greenland offers a home away from home for outdoor enthusiasts. While you may not find a professionally cleaned hotel room, you will see plenty else.

Although cold, that’s a good thing for post-pandemic travelers. And there isn’t much Wi-Fi available on a frozen lake, allowing for family bonding.

New Zealand

Assuming they are allowing travelers, New Zealand is always a top destination. It’s hard to beat so much natural beauty with modern amenities.

Plus, there are plenty of trails, parks, and coastlines to explore. Also, it’s nice knowing how proactive the country was leading to 2021.

London, England

London is always a great place for first-time international travelers. Although much is different from the US, things aren’t too dissimilar.

Its rich history also makes for lots of exploration and learning. The cuisine is easy for travelers to enjoy, too.
